Undescended testis
• Testis should have descended before 3 months of
life (term patient)
• Clinical problems
• Testicular atrophy
• Affect future fertility
Absent testis in the left scrotum
• Prone to torsion
• ↑malignancy rate of the affected testis
• Should have operation (orchidopexy before 18
months of life)
