The narrow aortic bifurcation with non-circumferential calcium with a maximum diameter
of 11mm may not be able to adequately accommodate the two limbs of the endograft in
endovascular repair, and there is a risk of limb kinking with subsequent occlusion resulting
in lower limb ischaemia. Therefore this patient was treated with a aorto-uni-iliac
stentgraft and a femoro-femoral bypass.
Question: Under what other circumstances would an AUI be used in EVAR?
