Different views of the lump. For diagnosis, imaging with MRA, contrast-enhanced CT, or PET-
CT is important. It is also important to have a tissue diagnosis with biopsy (with risk of skin
seedings).
Resectability is dependent on the tumour’s involvement with surrounding vital structures
such as arteries, veins, and muscle compartments. Sometimes the tumour can be resected
en-bloc with arteries and veins, with vascular reconstruction using interposition vein or
synthetic grafts.
