Coil Embolization was the treatment of choice for unilateral internal iliac artery aneurysms
that reached a significant size. There is a small risk of unilateral buttock claudication. The
two branches were selective catheterized with a microcatheter and individually embolized
with platinum detachable coils, and the aneurysm main sac was then packed with addi-
tional larger .035 coils.
