Patients with early staged tumours are commonly
asymptomatic.
The commonest symptom is unilateral or bilateral neck
swelling secondary to lymph node metastasis.
Other symptoms include progressive hearing deficit due Left abducens (CN VI) nerve palsy as shown
to middle ear effusion, tinnitus and blood stained nasal on left lateral gaze
discharge.
In advanced staged tumours, skull base invasion and
intracranial extension cause cranial nerve palsy, leading to
midface numbness (V ) or diplopia (CNVI).

Systemic metastasis (bone, liver, lung) may be present in
advanced staged tumours. PET-CT scan showed multiple mediastinal
and liver hilum lymph node metastasis
