                                                                                                                                     arrow) was occluded in midthigh.  The deep/profunda femoral artery (PFA, green ar-
                                                                                                                                     row) was relatively disease free.  The PFA is an important artery that provide collater-
                                                                                                                                     als to the lower limb (see above).


                                                                                                                                     GOAL: You should be able to differentiate the SFA from the PFA on lower limb angio-
                                                                                                                                     grams.
