General examination showed this patient has severe rheumatoid arthritis. Patients with
Rheumatoid Ulcer rheumatologically disorders often has vasculitis, resulting in peripheral arterial occlusive
disease. Treatment involves control of rheumatoid disease, keeping warm, anti-platelet
agents, angioplasty or bypass surgery.

This patient presented with an ulcer of the right big toe. The dorsalis pedis pulse was not
