General examination showed this patient has severe rheumatoid arthritis. Patients with
        Rheumatoid Ulcer                                                                                                   rheumatologically disorders often has vasculitis, resulting in peripheral arterial occlusive

                                                                                                                           disease. Treatment involves control of rheumatoid disease, keeping warm, anti-platelet
                                                                                                                           agents, angioplasty or bypass surgery.





                                                                                        Ischaemic

                                                                                        ulcer in the

                                                                                        dorsal aspect

                                                                                        of the right big

                                                                                        toe, together
                                                                                        with skin

                                                                                        changes and

                                                                                        trophic nails.






























































         This patient presented with an ulcer of the right big toe. The dorsalis pedis pulse was not
