In view of restenosis with recurrent symptoms, a 8mmx38mm cobalt-chromium stent was
inserted to the distal common iliac artery and the proximal external iliac artery. The stent
we used was a balloon-expandable cobalt-chromium alloy stent (BeSmooth Peripheral

Stent System, Bentley, Germany) with high radial force and 6 Fr sheath compatibility.

The stent was mounted on a balloon catheter. When it was

positioned accurately in the designated position, deployment

was performed with inflating the balloon under image

        intensifier.
