Renal Embolism

A 56-year old man with untreated atrial fibrillation presented with acute onset left frank pain

for seven hours. Emergency CT scan showed a non-opacified left kidney and an occluded left
main renal artery, suggesting acute left renal artery embolism. Emergency endovascular inter-
       vention was performed.
