Chronic Venous Ulcer






       This patient has a chronic venous ulcer, as shown in the gaiter area, and the
       surrounding hyperpigmentation due to hemosiderin deposit. The ulcer is healing
       well, as it is shallow and has healthy granulation tissues at the ulcer base. Atrophie
       blanche is  also present (the pink part) here, which is a particular type of angular

       scar. It occurs after a skin injury, where the healing was delayed.
