Still indecisive on surgery, she was found dead in the ward the next day after this CT
scan. Hb was 4 g/dl. Presumably the aneurysm ruptured.
A rapidly enlarging AAA with symptoms is a serious condition suggesting impending
rupture. Urgent surgery is indicated under these circumstances.
