Despite repeated
image guided drainage
of the para-aortic
collection, patient was
still septic and
symptomatic with back
pain
Finally decided to
proceed to surgical
drainage of the right
psoas abscess as
shown in the photo
on the right
80mls of pus was
removed. All necrotic
tissues were debrided.
The endograft seemed
healthy and unaffected,
hence decided to leave it
in-situ.
