After successful embolectomy, the calf became more swollen and tense
with parasthesia and a rising creatine kinase.
An EMERGENCY EMBOLECTOMY was carried out via the transfemoral route. Pre-
vious volumes have illustrated the procedure and the Fogarty Catheter. Below is a
short operative video of an actual embolectomy in this patient. Left lower limb fasciotomy was performed for compartment syndrome
due to reperfusion
