Bowen’s disease

 First described by J.T. Bowen in 1912

 Squamous cell carcinoma in-situ

 Flaky, keratotic, erythematous lesion

 3-5% risk of transforming into invasive SCC

 Ulceration indicates invasion

 Erythroplakia of Queyret is Bowen’s disease

of the glans penis with 20% risk of SCC

Can also affect the inner prepuce, vulva

or oral mucosa
