OPERATIVE OUTCOMES
Operative outcome is superior in patients undergoing MR PLCE FJ compared with those undergoing
PLE GPU:
The number of complications is less in patients undergoing MR PLCE FJ.
Post-operation intensive care unit monitoring is only indicated for selected patients undergoing MR
PLCE FJ. This is in comparison with PLE GPU whereby ALL patients require post-operative close
monitoring in intensive care unit.
There is no in-hospital mortality for patients undergoing MR PLCE FJ.
