Pseudoaneurysm

Resection of tumours close to the internal carotid artery may lead to inadvertent injury to the

blood vessel, leading to the formation of a pseudoaneurysm. If unrecognized, torrential bleeding may

occur, which is potentially fatal. Stenting is one of the treatment options for pseudoaneurysm.
