The fenestration can be clearly identified on the selective sagittal cuts of the CT scan.

            A patient presented with sudden onset severe back pain, and emergency CT
            showed type B aortic dissection. Follow-up CT scan 1 week later showed
            rapid expansion of the thoracic aorta to maximum diameter of 5.2cm, with
            fenestration seen between the true and false lumen in lower thoracic aorta.
