Mechanical thrombectomy is performed with a rapidly rotating catheter tip which
fragments and then aspirates material from within the artery. The catheter is
advanced over the guidewire to the lesion as part of a percutaneous procedure
Post thrombectomy angiogram shows a Percutaneous ballooning of the lesion
patent distal SFA and above knee
popliteal artery.
