CT scan (late arterial phase) confirmed the diagnosis of a large ovarian tumour and
ascites. The patient was put on NOAC and would have a total abdominal hysterectomy
and bilateral salpingo-oopherectomy. CT scan (venous phase) showed that the large tumour have compressed on the left ili-
ofemoral veins, causing DVT. The right iliofemoral veins and the inferior vena cava were
patent.
