Duplex left leg DVT and ovarian mass.mp4
Duplex ultrasound showed patent right iliofemoral veins, but with non-compressible
left iliofemoral veins with visible thrombus, indicating left iliofemoral DVT. She also had
a large mass in the pelvis, probably ovarian in origin, and gross ascites.
The left foot remained swollen despite elevation, with evidence of pitting oedema. This makes
a diagnosis of DVT more likely, as supposed to lymphedema, which have features of dorsal
hump, squaring of toes, Stemmer sign, and non-pitting oedema.
