Preface
An elderly man with a transplanted right kidney in the right iliac fossa performed
more than 15 years ago is found to have a 5.2cm infrarenal aortic aneurysm on a
plain CT.
This is a plain CT of the patient’s abdomen and pelvis
Question: If the patient opted for open or endovascular aneurysm repair (EVAR), what are
the important consideration and precautions for this patient?
