Fortunately in this instance the retroperitoneal hemorrhage was not from the AAA
but apparently a spontaneous retroperitoneal bleeding as a result of his dual an-
ti-platelet therapy. Urgent CT scan revealed a rather localized hematoma in the R iliac

fossa area quite separate from the AAA.
