EVAR Limb Occlusion



































































            This is a patient with a 5cm infra-renal abdominal aortic aneurysm.
            Endovascular aneurysm repair (EVAR) was performed as shown on the above
            completion angiogram



            He complained of sudden onset left lower limb claudication 1 week after the
            EVAR



            The left femoral pulse was absent. Duplex ultrasound showed thrombosis of
            the left iliac limb of the EVAR stent graft



            It is suspected to be caused by an acute kink over the graft due to the
            anatomy of the arteries (as shown by the arrows)
