In view of his relatively
young age and good past
health, he was offered an
open repair. Open repair
has been shown to have
better long lasting and

balanced against the short
term morbidity of an open
operation.
The anticipated challenge
would be the management
of the internal iliac
aneurysms. Because they
are located deep in the
pelvis, they may not be able
to resected in the same
setting. One option may be
to leave them and embolize
