Radial Artery Thrombosis
A gentleman had an arterial line
inserted to the left radial artery
during an operation for BP
monitoring.
Intra-op, the arterial line was
found to have no signal.
Post-op it was noticed that
the left hand was cold, pale
and pulseless
The patient was suspected to
have acute left upper limb
ischemia secondary to
iatrogenic radial artery
trauma (the arterial line).
