Bilateral Carotid Stenting
A 67-year-old lady with history of NPC treated with Radiotherapy (RT) was followed up
for asymptomatic bilateral carotid stenosis. Serial Duplex scan showed increasing ca-
rotid stenosis reaching 80% on both sides. Subsequent CT scan (for planning of carot-
id stenting) showed severe stenosis over both common carotid arteries (Arrow), with
more severe stenosis on the left side. Sequential carotid stenting were performed with
left carotid stenting performed first, followed by right carotid stenting.
