Femoral Endarterectomy Clinical examination showed absent right femoral pulse with a calcified artery. Duplex
confirmed total occlusion of the common femoral artery with a occlusive plaque with

low flow in the superficial femoral and profunda femoris arteries. The patient
     underwent open femoral endarterectomy.
An elderly patient developed painful gangrenous changes in the big toe, which developed
after minor trauma. There were also symptoms of rest pain and nocturnal coldness.
