CT angiogram as predicted showed severely calci-
fied vessels, multiple levels of occlusion in the right
anterior tibial artery, but with a preserved posteri-
or tibial artery and foot arches.

Despite PTA of the anterior tibial artery providing
additional blood supply the viability of the toe/foot
is still at risk due to the presence of infection. Superficial
