(II) Wound management










        First and superficial second-degree burn

        wounds                can            usually             be           managed

        conservatively by encouraging spontaneous

        re-epithelization.






        Loose skin and blisters are removed and the

        wound is kept moist, conventionally with daily

        wound dressing.






        The wound usually heals with minimal scarring.
