MPNST Illustration
Left shoulder fungating tumour. Biopsy confirmed
MPNST. MRI showed the tumour was abutting on
the underlying muscle fascia.
(Left) Wide excision with 3cm circumferential skin margins
including the underlying muscle was performed. (Right)
The resultant defect was reconstructed with latissimus dorsi
myocutaneous flap. The donor site was covered by partial
thickness skin graft.
