Left. Tumour was excised with 1.5cm margins extending to the left lateral tongue and left lower

alveolar mucosa. Left supra-omohyoid neck dissection was also performed. Right. A stitch was

placed over the anterior resection margin of the resected specimen for orientation. Flap

reconstruction was warranted for separation of the oral cavity with the neck and also for

coverage of exposed alveolar bone.
