SCM Sural nerve graft
Sural nerve graft was used for neural reconstruction. Anastomosis was between the main trunk and the
marginal and zygomatic branches. The marginal and zygomatic branches were chosen to reduce drooping of
oral commissure and eye protection respectively. Overlying cheek skin was reconstructed with skin island of
free anterolateral thigh flap. Pathology yielded pT4N1 adenoid cystic carcinoma with clear resection margins. In
view of advanced stage of disease, patient completed a course of adjuvant radiotherapy.
