A combined effort
When even the right lobe graft is insufficient and deceased donor
graft is not available, more than one donor will be required.
In this very special circumstance, neither of the donors' right lobe
is sufficient to the recipient. (<40% of recipient's estimated
standard liver volume). Therefore after careful consideration, it
was decided to combine the right and left lobes from each of the
donors.
