A graft for
small children
Left lateral grafts are the
most commonly used in small
children.
Transection is performed
along the right side of
falciform ligament, including
the left portal vein and left
hepatic artery to the graft.
Since the inflow to the
segment IV is divided, it is
prone to ischaemia.
Meticulous technique is
required in order to
prevent bile leak in donor.
