TYPES OF GRAFTS?
Limited organ supply
By splitting grafts, more patients
can benefit from the limited supply.
Modifying size of grafts from living
donor helps to maximize the chance
of successful donation.
Donor safety
Adequate volume of remnant liver in
living donor must be ensured.
In general, a smaller liver graft is
usually safer to donor.
Ensure recipient outcome
Adequate liver volume to recipient:
