After flushing of the graft with preservation solution, the middle

hepatic vein (MHV) is joined with the right hepatic vein (RHV) into a

single cuff to facilitate implantation (venoplasty).

After implantation (before bile duct anastomosis):

Pulsation of the hepatic artery could be clearly seen.
