Procurement

Inferior mesenteric vein (IMV) is

cannulated and infused with cold

Hartmann solution.

Infrarenal aorta is slung and

cannulated (cannula not shown)

Supraceliac aorta is slung and

clamped.

Cold preservation solution is rapidly

flushed into the liver from infra-renal

aorta and IMV.

Efflux is drained via hepatic veins to

suprahepatic inferior vena cava

(IVC).
