When big donor

meets small recipient

Pre-operative CT volumetry is a

must in all living donors, in

order to determine which lobe

is used as liver graft.

For left lobe grafts, since a

smaller volume is removed, it is

relatively safer to donor.

Transection along middle hepatic vein is performed. The middle

hapatic vein can be seen collapsing on the transection surface
