    Plain X-ray showing a Supera stent placed across the knee joint in a very calcified popliteal artery,
    with a focal area of compression.  This is a self-expanding, helically woven braided nitinol stent
    designed to be resistant to the flexion and rotational stress in the femoro-popliteal system, and
    has shown encouraging mid term patency.  Accurate deployment to avoid unintended elongation,
    which would compromise its radial strength.
