 1. Clinical Diagnosis of acute left lower limb ischemia made by 6 x ‘P’s


 2. Initial Management:

 IV heparin bolus (5000 units or according to body weight)
 Prepare for emergency operation (femoral embolectomy)                             e. Arteriotomy closure with
                                                                                   sutures
