Dorsalis pedis and posteriotibial pulses were easily palpable. Arterial duplex of
the right leg did not show any pseudoaneurysm or major arterial occlusions.
Treatment was with iloprost infusion and heparin. The patient was warned that
such activity was very dangerous and could lead to limb loss or severe
rhabdomyolysis.
