Apart from rupture, the patient may Hypertensive, hyperlipidaemia, ischaemic heart disease with recent
present with hoarseness due to stretching
of the left recurrent laryngeal nerve by the coronary artery bypass
aneurysm resulting in left vocal cord palsy-
Cardiovocal syndrome or Ortner’s Presented with pulsatile abdominal mass (Video)
syndrome Note expansile abdominal pulsation
Treatment options include total arch
replacement with cardiopulmonary bypass,
56 or endovascular repair with branched stent 57
grafts.
