This AAA has much better
anatomy despite its size
Aortic Anatomy (6cm). A long, healthy neck
at the top guarantees a good
seal despite slightly angled.
Both common iliac arteries
are of sufficient length for
landing and not aneurymal.
Access vessels are also of
size.
Another patient with unfa-
vorable AAA anatomy for
EVAR. The neck, although
long, is very angled at 90 de-
grees. The left lower acces-
sory renal artery may need
to be covered to maximize
proximal sealing zone. His
right common iliac artery is
also aneurysmal. This is a
borderline patient and the
devision will be determined
by a balance of his general
condition and the risk of rein-
terventions and endoleak.
