             TYPE II ENDOLEAK, or a retro leak, is the most common form of endoleak after
             EVAR.  It can occur in 10-20% of patients and usually arises from retrograde flow from a
             patent large branch of the aneurysm sac.  Examples include lumbar arteries or the infe-
             rior mesenteric artery.  They are relatively benign but can be a long term problem with

             continuous sac pressurization and enlargement.  A persistent type II endoleak with aneu-
             rysm sac enlargement is an indication for secondary intervention.
