lymphedema

 Surgical management is broadly divided

into two subtypes: Debulking surgery and

Reconstructive / Physiological surgery

 Physiological surgery is aiming to produce

functioning lymphatic drainage pathways

to improve clinical condition by increase

the return of lymph back into the circulation

Vascularized lymph node transfer

Lymphaticovenular anastomosis (LVA)
