Lipodermatosclerosis
In lipodermatosclerosis, from CHRONIC VENOUS INSUFFICIENCY, the soft subcutaneous
tissue is replaced by thick fibrous tissue as a consequence of inflammation and fibrin
exudation. The so-called ‘inverted champagne bottle’ appearance is due to narrow an-
