This photograph was taken on day 2 of life. The left thumb and left fingers were gangrenous

to different degree, but the palm of the hand was well perfused. There was a good Doppler
signal of the left ulnar artery at the wrist, and a weaker signal of radial artery. The patient
could move his fingers and toes.
