TEVAR Failure
This 54-year old man had a TEVAR in 2011 for a subacute Type B dissection. Initial response was
good and the true lumen had expanded. However due to progressive degeneration and dilata-
tion of the proximal landing zone, the stent graft had migrated distally resulting in a large prox-
imal type Ia leak and failure of seal. The distal landing zone also failed, leading to a new distal
entry tear (SINE) and dilatation of the distal end as well.
