The patient was quickly brought to the emer-
gency hybrid operating theatre. External

cardiac massage was required. An aortic
balloon was inserted into the low thoracic
aorta for temporary hemostasis. Angiogram
showed a juxtarenal AAA with small renals,
tortuous aortic neck, and poor access.

The operation was converted into an open
repair due to the unfavorable anatomy. She

did not survive.
