Benign fibrous tumour
Nodular fasciitis
A benign subcutaneous tumour due to
reactive proliferation of fibroblasts
Can be rapidly growing and painful
Most common site: forearm
Treatment: excision

Dermatofibroma
Benign fibrous
histiocytoma
Present as a firm
brownish nodule
with smooth or warty surface
Often occur in the lower extremities
May be preceded by trauma
